Grouse Nest has a beauty that makes a round of golf memorable not only for the game, but for the place itself. The natural setting is home to many species of wildlife and a wide variety of flora.
During your game, you might hear our namesake grouse drumming its wings in a mating call or chance upon a nest of duck eggs. Deer, rabbits, foxes and moose are memorable watchers from the gallery.

Here at Grouse Nest we experience different weather than surrounding areas. Maybe it has to do with the number of bodies of water surrounding us in all directions. Maybe it’s the prevailing winds. Or maybe the golf gods just love us that much. Regardless of the reason, it definitely happens.
It could be raining right next door but we’re in the sun. So many people call and ask “What’s the weather like out there today?”. And more often than not we tell them “It’s nice and sunny out today”. It could be pouring rain in the city or north, south, east or west of us, but here at Grouse Nest, it’s nice and sunny.

PEOPLE ARE TALKING
This is a great course to golf. Greens are awesome. Fairways are kept up ( depending on the weather). The staff is friendly and willing to help out in any way they can. Stop for a refreshment and relax on the deck.
It’s a well maintained course, Lynn is great & very friendly. Husband is new to golf & actually enjoys going there.
We just finished playing at this course. It was a great course for us beginners and our husbands enjoy the challenge of the hazards. We strongly recommend this course.
